AR Giant Book

The AR book represents LiveViewStudio interests in merging digital and physical interactions in immersive storytelling experience. The printed pages of the book are supplemented with augmented reality content, thus permitting interactive elements and moments of surprise in the form of 3d animations with sound.

The book was originally commissioned by mobile operator for Science Festival (Belgrade, 2011) and was exploring innovative interfaces for storytelling and education. The potential of the book to turn a passive observer into active participant has led to further research and development of the framework with regards to technology, design and possibilities for interaction. It was successfully implemented at Sharjah Reading Festival (UAE, Shrajah 2011) and exhibition Pupin – from Physical to Spiritual Reality (Historical Museum of Serbia ( Belgrade, 2014).

Many other subjects can be communicated in this way from, historical and heritage related subjects to products or company presentation.
